NOAC Education satellite symposium

This month, NOAC Education hosted an educational satellite symposium at the European Emergency Medicine (EUSEM) Congress in Prague, Czech Republic.

The interactive symposium entitled ‘NOAC Reversal in Emergency Medicine’ was chaired by Professor Ander Cohen. With 177 delegates engaged in the session, Dr David Julian Seiffge, Dr Jecko Thachil and Professor Michael Christ educated the audience on how and when to utilise NOACs, and the latest management strategies available for NOAC reversal in the event of a major life-threatening bleed or emergency surgery, with thought-provoking case-studies included.

With audience voting via an app and the chance to gain expert insights, this session was thoroughly enjoyed by all, with questions being submitted right until the very end.
